My life is pretty one-sided.

I start school on Thursday after spending almost $500 on books. College sucks already!

I've been doing a lot of psuedo-shopping lately. Psuedo-shopping is when you go to Philly on the premise of going shopping but you end up just buying two shirts and watching Discovery channel and playing horseshoes at some house on Drexel instead, or when you go to Seaside and end up doing the same thing, minus the house on Drexel (I ended up with a "Warn-a-Brother" t-shirt, a half-eaten bag of Doritos, six empty Wawa ice teas and a wicked tan on my neck). I always end up spending more on food and transportation than I do on shopping, which is okay unless of course you're me and your clothes suck.

Oh, anybody know where they sell Pete & Pete on DVD? I think Suncoast probably has it, but that's all the way at the mall. Plus they probably charge 20 dollars too much because they're Suncoast and that's how they do it.

...knock on wood, my car still works!

So much for fair weather friends.

Why is this summer so retarded?

I'm still going through adderall withdrawl, I guess. But that's no excuse for some of the lameness I've gone through so far. It's safe to say theres at least three people who I am very disappointed with. What a vacation.

And my goddamn muffler fell off. FANTASTIC. God, all I need is another death in the family and I'll have the greatest summer in my life.

Summer still sucks.

So does quitting Adderall.

Ive been going through withdrawl since school got out and I'm pretty sure this is the third week or so without it. When you're quitting smoking or something isn't the third week supposed to be the worst one? It is with adderall. I feel like CRAP and everybody is acting retarded. This is so...high school. WTF. Why does my life finally get high school-ish AFTER I graduate? WTF . I wish I wasn't going to BCC.

I have to go to work again. Right now.

I probably forgot to mention that I stopped taking adderall about 3 weeks ago.
I tend to forget a lot now that I dont do speed.

I promise I won't say a thing about my car this time.
(but yes, it's still a piece of shit money-pit)

I got a job at TD Bank North in Pemberton. I'm a teller. I get paid to eat and sit in a swivel chair and copy/staple things. I have to go to Philly every day next week to "train". Cool? Yeah.

Oh, I'm in my room right now. My brother just gave me a computer that doesn't suck. Besides this stupid laptop-esque flat keyboard, it's pretty good. It's fast and it kind of looks like a space ship. Plus it was free.

Fucking mosquitoes.

OMGZ x2

- Graduation is tomorrow. That one speaks for itself. That, and my first trip on a cruise boat for Project Graduation. Yeah, I miss out on a lot. We (the Ahrens'es) don't do vacations... ever since I hijacked a jet ski in Cape May on our last one.

- The last missing part for the Volvo came today (a turn signal, to replace the one the auto shop kids broke). That means that now I can inspect the Volvo (and pass) - I'll do it tomorrow, probably - and then I'm free to spend all the money I want on that car and not worry about having to fix anything else for two years. Aka paintjob.

(Oh, and Billy Trefz might be able to fix my a/c for mad cheap. I.E. $50 or so compared to $1000 or so.)

I'm going to live at the shore this summer. That's the truth.

This passes time while I wait for the rest of what's going to be Bitchin Cruisin volume 20 to download.

And yes, it will probably make you feel worthless.

Well, I'm livin. Nothing to really complain about. School is OUT and I'm ready to graduate. I might be getting a killer job at a bank in Pemberton making more dough than I can count (something around $500 every two weeks). I'm going to paint my Volvo (suggestions? I was just going to go with the original silver. On that note, who knows a good cheap bodyshop? Where's a Maaco around here?).

Uh, I got new shoes too. Sauconys. They're pretty cool shoes.

Subject:SUP PROM
Time:4:41 pm.
Aaaah. I'll post pictures when they're developed. My class had its prom at (of all places) the Hilton in Cherry Hill. Classy place. Even the ladies who worked there wore tuxedos. My feet hurt pretty bad by the end of the night.
Lesson learned at prom: Girls are lucky because they don't have to wear shoes to dance. Nothing gets your feet hurtin like a stiff pair of rental dress shoes. Still, girls don't have pockets.

The next morning I woke up like a rock and drove to Wildwood. I roomed with Carlo, Dustin, Scotty, Vince Tiver and Matt Sereduk at some place called Castaways Motel. Tara and Lauren Kiczek stayed for most of the day. Half of the whole damn school was there. I had a kickass time (and got pretty inebriated) even though the weather was kindof crappy. If I hadn't run out of money, I would have bought some kickass shirts but I did get 2 shot glasses in some arcade from a skee-ball tournament I didn't win a single game of. Sweet.
Lesson learned at after-prom: If given enough straight, open, and well-paved road to work with (sup Expressway!!), a 1990 Volvo 240-DL stationwagon can reach speeds in excess of 110 mph. SUP VOLVO.

HEY. Whatup, livejournal? Long time no see. (kind of like my email I haven't checked since February and don't plan on doing anytime soon).

So what's new? Nothing. I haven't wrecked the Volvo yet (knock on wood!!!) and I haven't got a girlfriend yet. I can't say I've been really trying too hard to do either of those (crashing/girl), but I think I should start (girl only - the car's good with no dents, thanks).

On that note, if I paid as much attention to random hot girls in school that I give to my babygirl, she would have this cute girl in the passenger seat instead of a pile of dirty work uniforms and my trig notebook. It's easy to make a car run better - you tell the mechanic to fix it or do it yourself with the Magic Bottles of Liquid Car Fixer that go in your gas tank, but it's another story when it comes to getting hitched around here.

Yes, it's true. All I give a shit about is my car. Sue me.

CRAP. I forgot about LJ again. It's been a month since my last entry and I'm still not dead, amazingly. I didn't get sun poisoning in Florida (which was awesome) and I haven't done anything since then that can ever compare to how awesome senior trip was. If they'd given me an unlimited cash flow, a car, and my own bed, I would stay forever.

I also guess I got a second job washing dishes at the Flying W airport in Medford or somewhere. I'll post senior trip pics when they get done being developed. Thanks, CVS. SLOW AS HELL.

OH, one big thing. I got a cell phone. It happened even though I never thought it would; I just gave in and got the cheapest one there. That doesn't mean it's not nice. It's got a 4x zoom camera and a video camera and... uh... ring tones and voicemail and texting and shit. It's Verizon, so if you have Verizon call me cause we talk for free I think. If you don't have Verizon, send me a letter.

Hey I forgot all about livejournal. Crap.

Last week I almost got in two crashes. One was just lame - I was going past the long line of cars parked along the bottom of the hill in front of RV and some kid in an Explorer pulled out right next to me while I was going past him. The second one was funny because it was Jeena Shepherd who almost ran me off the parking lot road. Me and her are two of the three (I think) people who go to RV and drive Volvos.

Then this weekend I went skiing all day long on Saturday. I love my once-a-year skiing adventures.

Finally, this morning I discovered the latest Ahrens Family Bathroom Reading Materials while brushing my teeth. For most people, bathroom reading is tabloid gossip magazines. For us, it's usually yesterday's newspaper or the Parade magazine that comes in the Sunday paper. Today, it was the 1961 edition of "The Fundamentals of Nuclear Warfare" by the US Army. I can't even imagine where that came from.

Driving like a Mount Hollian is pretty stressful. Driving fast and cutting turns like Mount Hollians in rush hour is hard. I'm in the A-wing computer lab right now; I'm supposed to be working on my senior project powerpoint slide show, but I'll do that at home tomorrow because the school sucks to work in. I'd much rather be talking to people than working. Speaking of work, I do about four days a week these days. It kind of sucks that my only days off are in the middle of the week (and Friday!!) and I'm going to spend my days off finishing my senior project anyway.

I need to vacuum my car. It's pretty dirty. There's still bits of wire sitting on the dashboard from when Circuit City put in my CD player last week. I might get some new speakers to go with it, but the ones that came with the car are pretty decent.

But when my mom gets her like $300,000 from that car crash I'm going to talk her into buying me a '73 Nova. The first car I ever drove (well, sat on my dad's lap and pretended to steer; I was about seven and there's a home movie to prove it) was a '73 Nova, but it had no paint and it was all rusted out. The Nova I want will be shiny and fast and... well, it'll be sweet. Racing tires and a V8 engine and a 6-disc changer!! A BLACK SS WITH THE NAVIGATION. There is a Nova SS model.

I can tell nobody around me is working either. I'm going to start talking about how good meat tastes or something.
